Antique parasol with whalebone ribs frame, carved ivory folding handle. Originally this parasol was covered with a silk canopy with a pongée of silk lining that was very damaged, a whalebone rib was broken.
The owner only asked for a restoration of the canopy and the replacement of the broken whalebone rib.
